Going deeper...

Although I did a "About Me" section already, I just wanted to go deeper so I can connect with you even more!

Everything Morgan!

I mentioned I was 22 years old, studying marine biology. I used to attend George Fox university, studying Elementary Education. I had always wanted to be a teacher. In high school I did preschool and elementary student teaching, and choosing my major before I was even accepted into a university was a no brainer. Once I got to school, I realized my passion may have lied somewhere else. By the second semester of my sophomore year, I had decided to pursue another dream.

A new Passion

I have always loved the beach and the ocean. I studied organisms and ecosystems on my free time, and have always been one of those people who go to the beach and sit marveling at the waves all day. In 2021, I went diving in a shark cage. After that, I was hooked. I want to be able to one day go diving regularly, studying and then conserving the ecosystems and keystone species that hold the ocean together!

Family

Family

I am an older sister to one other sibling, who is also a photographer! We both grew up with my mom and my grandma, and various pets! I was born and raised here in Oregon, and although I love it, I hope to one day move to Texas. My fiance and I are both country kids at heart which is ironic as I again have grown up in the city my whole life. This picture is from a secret sibling session my brother and I did for our mom this recent Mother's Day! She loved it so much!

My Other Half...

My fiance Sam is my best friend. We've been together a little over two years now. We met online on Bumble, but immediately knew we were it for each other. Sam is sixth in line of seven siblings. One of his older sisters has auto immune diseases, so when we first started dating we couldn't be around each other without masks, or be closer than six feet. Our "dating" life consisted of walking dates in neighborhoods and trails all hours of the afternoon and night, talking and getting to know each other. A few months into dating, we went on a hike to Multnomah Falls. As if in a movie, we get to the top and receive a text from Sam's mom saying his siter was strong enough with antibodies that Sam and I could begin being a normal couple. In her words, "you can now kiss your girlfriend". Our first kiss was at the top of Multnomah Falls.

We took our first picture together by the main waterfall above the main bridge. A year and a half later, in December 2022, Sam proposed in the same spot. I couldn't ask for a better partner. We are saving up for a wedding in August 2024, and it cannot come soon enough!

Work and Play

I have a day job as a Medical Technician at a memory care retirement home. I've been working in health care since I graduated high school in 2019. Although it's at times exhausting, it's all the more so rewarding. The opportunity to love on the marginalized like the elderly, autistic and forgotten is a passion of mine, so to do it full time is a beautiful thing.

On my free time, I like to play piano, paint, and go on any and all adventures! I'm a super fan of the office, and a true crime addict!

No Greater Love

My faith is the most important to me. I was raised Christian, and my senior year of high school I really began to take hold of my own faith. I have known no greater love than God's. I am His and He is mine. The song "Goodness of God" describes my heart:

"All my life You have been faithful,
And all my life You have been so, so good,
With every breath that I am able,
I will sing of the goodness of God."

I HOPE THIS GIVES A LITTLE MORE INSIGHT INTO WHO I AM AND THE THINGS THAT I LOVE!

I AM EXCITED AND HONORED TO WORK WITH YOU!

Blessings on blessings,
