It’s Been a While!
Hey all! It’s been two years since my last post, and so many things have changed and grown!
I want to reintroduce myself, and give more insight into who I am and what I love!
Let’s catch up!
A Quick Introduction…
I am a 24 year old lifestyle photographer in the west coast area, based mostly in the Portland area! I started photography in 2021, which began as a hobby but has grown into my full time job! Lifestyle Photography is a catch-all term that loosely translates to my indecisiveness of picking a niche! More importantly, lifestyle photography solidifies my business as a ministry. I don’t limit myself to one specific type of photography because I want to give everyone a chance to have their life moments captured. If you want to know the “why” behind what I do, check out my “About Me” section!

I Got Married
With an original plan to get married in August of 2024, we decided in November of 2023 that we would get married seven months sooner! We felt God saying we were ready, and it was the best leap of faith we’ve ever taken! Our day was so life giving :)

Gaining a Sister
Last summer, my brother proposed to his beloved! For Christmas, they asked Sam and I to be in the wedding party, such a sweet memory! The Fosters get married in just a few short weeks, and we are so excited for them!

Yet to Come
Late summer last year Sam and I found out we were pregnant with our first child. The day before Thanksgiving, we went for a routine pre-natal appointment, and found out we had a silent miscarriage. Unlike typical miscarriages, there are no symptoms to let you know what’s happening. We spent my husband’s birthday in a hospital, undergoing surgery to get baby out, then burying them a few weeks later.
Coincidentally, the song I shared at the end of my first blog was the song I heard just before going into that appointment. This song has become my heart’s cry, as I learn every day what it means to choose faith.
The lyrics read-
“All my life you have been faithful,
and all my life you have been so, so good.
With every breath that I am able,
I will sing, of the goodness of God.”
In the midst of navigating grief, which always ebbs and flows, we believe God is good, and we see His faithfulness.
Healing and Gratitude
After our loss, I gained a new appreciation for those around us. Our friends and family surrounded us more than we could’ve ever imagined. We have been able to process and heal as we’ve gone on because of the wonderful people God has put in our lives!
For Sam, he deepened his relationship with men of God, including his best friend who has also become one of mine. We give a special shoutout to L and T, who have invested in my sweet hubs (and me) on our good and bad days!
In my life, my best friend graduated college and moved back to the area, so we’ve been making up for lost time! After 12 years of friendship, I am so blessed to have her in life for my mountains, valleys, and all the in between! CJ, you are a lifetime friend. I am proud to walk and grow alongside you!
I would also like to acknowledge my redhead sister, who I now share a hard life experience with. A, you encourage me, inspire me, and invest in me. I am honored to look up to you.
In tandem with A, I gained a friend in the last year who is one of those people you feel like you’ve known forever. A wonderful mom of two, a sacrificial wife, and a craft queen! D, I am so grateful our friendship is growing! Thanks for serving the church with me.
Finally, the Lord knew EXACTLY what I needed before I did when I became a youth leader last summer! My M&M pal and I have had the absolute privilege of pouring into the next generation. I am inspired by these girls, in awe of their perseverance, courage and thoughtfulness. Girlies, I love you endlessly!! You are lights in the mundane week. I cannot rave about you enough!
He is Worthy of it All
i am becuase he lives
What I love to do most, is serve God. Loving others, loving His creation. Whether it’s trips to the coast, or singing on worship team, and every session I photograph, I owe all to God. I am grateful for His sustainability, that He meets me where I am at, and that His Word says NOTHING can separate me from His love. GOD IS SO GOOD!
i am excited to work with you, so let’s freezeframe life’s best!
BLESSINGS ON BLESSINGS,
